HOMMA TAC-12F Series is a higher-class vertical turning center developed for heavy duty machining
of hard materials with the finest machining accuracy. This machine series employs a ram size of 200mm x 200mm which makes it possible for high rigidity and the turning tool holder for ATC operation is based on HOMMA original design employing curvic coupling and hydraulic actuator which allows for accurate repeatability.

Thrust Roller Bearing – The large diameter thrust roller bearings are used for the table support with the AC spindle motor to give a stable table rotation at high speeds or with heavy loads.

Ram Head – As the RAM is finished with fine grinding with Tur cite B guideways, a superior rigidity is achieved. The feed drive movement employs a double nut type ball screw for high accuracy positioning.

Turning Tool Holder – The turning tool holder is pulled with the T-Bolt using a special powerful hydraulic actuator assembled at the ram top and it gives an accurate positioning with the curvic coupling.
